Today, Wednesday, the Chester Art Centre
is showcasing the “Colour of Nova Scotia” exhibition in their Inspired
Youth Series with photographs by Will Cousins. The opening reception is
from 5 - 7 pm. Gallery hours Thursday to Sunday are from 10-4 pm.
This weekend the Centre is hosting an online auction of mini paintings by local artists. These little 5"x 5" Picasso's are terrific ! Check 'em out. |

Stop by the showroom at 55 Duke Street to see the new line of “must
have” handmade tree ornamentation for 2021. The Swallowtail Bunting

Our Chester Village Christmas
kicks off Friday evening complete Santa and the tree lighting. There
will be Chester Farmers & Artisans Christmas market, our Annual
family Dress the Pet parade, the celebration of trees at the Chester
Yacht Club, the Merry Market on Pleasant Street, a curated Art Market at
the Chester Art Centre, cookie decorating at the Kiwi Cafe, the

A
man is alone in an airport lounge. A beautiful woman walks in and sits
down at the table next to him. Assuming because she wears a uniform,
she's probably an off-duty flight attendant for some airline.
Wanting to impress her, he decides to try identifying the airline she flies for, thereby impressing her.
He leans across to her and says the British Airways motto : 'To Fly. To Serve'?
The woman looks at him blankly.
He leans forward again and delivers the Air France motto: 'Winning the hearts of the world'?
Again she just stares at him with a slightly puzzled look on her face.
Undeterred, he tries again, this time saying the Malaysian Airlines motto: 'Going beyond expectations'?
The woman looks at him sternly and says: “What the f#&k do you want?”
“A hah!” he says, "Air Canada!”
We would like to wish all our American friends a very Happy Thanksgiving.
