 It’s Canada Day weekend ! Take a moment to remind yourself what this country is to you. When you are having a bad day and are pissed off with the 
world…remember where you live. How lucky are we to live here ! Freedom 
and democracy. Canada IS the best country in the world ! |  |

The Rope Loft 
 is open all weekend for your dining pleasure. Where better to be on the
 long weekend but by the sea. This Canada Day weekend they are featuring
 Arctic char, candied tropical fish cakes, scallop burger and peanut 
butter cheesecake mousse.

 The Heritage Society is having a Canada Day Garden Party at the 
Chester Train Station (20 Smith Road) from 4 -8 pm tomorrow. There will 
be ice cream, fish & chip fry booth, frozen freezie group, pick a 
prize egg group, golf chipping game, bean bag toss, sucker pull and a 
whipped topping in the face throw :)

 Saturday is the Chester Community Market at the Chester Legion (14 
Union Street) from 10- 2:pm. New community market featuring local 
entrepreneurs providing a great selection of items. Visitors will be 
greeted by wonderful arts and crafts, knits & quilts, jewelry & 
bath items, candles & comic books, kid's clothes & sail bags, 
Watkins & Epicure, baked goods & sweet/savoury treats, .... and 
so much more.

Playhouse invites you to celebrate July 4th with Movie Monday! Join us 
under the stars at Lordly Park for some of your favourite blockbuster 
films, projected on a giant 30-foot screen!    We start the 
summer off July 4th with, appropriately, “Independence Day”, with some 
of the most memorable destruction of beloved landmarks, as well as one 
of the most exciting speeches, ever put on film!

 The Chester Tennis Club Summer Junior Tennis Program starts next 
Monday and runs every weekday from 10 - 11 am and 11 am - 12:00 pm, 
dependent on age and ability. Cost $50 per week, all ages. You can 
register here .
